The Fall Tree Sale Tradition

It all began one fall about 15 years ago as TreeMan Bob, founder of Long Hollow Gardens & Nursery, surveyed his fields of trees.  Knowing that fall was the best time to transplant his home grown trees, he opened up his fields so the customers could walk through and tag their trees before the leaves fell off for the winter.  The sale was so successful; people were still choosing their trees after dusk with the light from car headlights!

The same tradition is still going strong every year starting Labor Day Weekend.  Long Hollow Gardens & Nursery is the only place to purchase specimen trees for your home directly from the grower.  Come early in the season to tag the best and come back to our “Dig Days at Long Hollow” after Thanksgiving to see the harvest of the trees and for the freshest Christmas Trees.
